How to Aim Lighting

I really like fluid, but have consistently struggled to figure out how to aim and control lighting pattern width. Specific use case is for stage lighting.

Anyone have tips on this?

My English is not very good, so I’m not sure if I understood correctly.The positional relationship between the illuminant and the luminaire is crucial.
Refer to the figure below. The height of the red light-emitting point determines the lighting range (with identical lamps)
