AO EX makes a section that I don’t want to (SKP2026 or 2025/ AOEX)
With SKP2025 and AO Pro it works…
Any Idea?

Can you please send us the model so we can take a look?
Got this file, SKP2023 with Pro is ok:
SKP 2025 with EX doesnt work right…
You find it here, as it is too big…
Also the light is really different, I haven’t changed anything in the file…
Thank you for sending the file, we’ll take a look at the issue
Hi Offbeato70, can you please send the file again? The link expired. We’re working on a solution and we’d like to check with your project before publishing a new release
…Done
Thank you…
Hello Offbeato70, there is a new release fixing the issue. You can download it by clicking on the “Download” button on your purchase confirmation email.
Thank you very much, works perfect!
Not really…
the render result is quit different:
Rendered with SKP2025, after 2:40 28% rendered Ambientocclusion EX:
Rendered with SKP2023, after 2:42 58%
same options…what is the reason of these differences?? There are 2 issues: the rotation of the environment ist wrong, I can adjust it. But worse is the texture of the inside wall cladding and bench. In the second rendering (SKP2023) it is OK, in the first (SKP2025, AO EX) there is no texture at all on the wall. Nevertheless ceiling and bench in both versions is not good, ceiling is the same material as the walls…
Hi Offbeato70, I think the problem is not on the texture by itself, but the used color mode. Can you try switching to “colored”? Probably now it’s set to “Global illumination”, which is more realistic but it takes more to give good results.
Can you please share the model so we can have a look? Thanks
So have a look…
It’s not the same project shown in your screenshots:
Besides that, we’ve tried it both with SU2025 and SU2026 and we noticed that the 2026 render is much more similar to the SU2023. The problem seems to be on glass: if you add, in AmbientOcclusion’s material editor, a glass material set to “thin dielectric” matching SketchUp’s materials containing “glas” in their name, the problem seems solved.
They should be identical also without this additional material and we have to investigate. Can you try with SU 2026?
